Mexico

A couple of weeks ago we headed out to Puerto Vallarta for a week with the kids.  We met up with Nana and Papa there to spend some quality time with them since their recent return from Jerusalem.  To say we had fun would be an understatement.  The kids had a blast, and it was a great adventure.  Some of the highlights:

Swim, swim and more swim-everyday-in the AMAZING pool.

Daily swim lessons with Mommy

The kids loved playing under the "tunnel" almost more than anything.  It was a bridge that ran over part of the pool.
We spent a few mornings down at the beach searching for sea glass, also know as "Granny glass" in these parts.  We found tons-3 zip lock bags full-and enough to fill up all of our sea glass jars at home.

While we were there we thought we would try out the water

We had some silly nights in our room
And some fun trips into town
 Looking at the sand sculptures.
William liked this one as it reminded him of the iguana we saw scurrying up the tree by the pool our first day.
Brother love at Mc Donalds of all places, where we stopped for an ice cream break.
Elliott spent most of our outings hanging in the backpack.  At least he got a cookie this time.

We also had a pretty crazy Mexican bus ride, you can see how the kids felt about it from their expressions.  We walked home.
REAL Mexican ice cream was eaten and very much enjoyed

We ate at "Pipi's", a Puerto Vallarta tradition
And we all ate more guacamole than was probably good for us

And we also had a lot of yummy meals in our room, with a beautiful view
But most importantly, we had a great time being with Nana and Papa,

and each other

Oh, and that gecko that we found on the bedroom ceiling the night before we left...that was pretty cool too.

There is no limit to the amount of guacamole that is good for us.
