This weekend, I took the kids with me to the aquarium to give Ali a break (summer is tough on moms). The boys behaved quite well and had a good time.
We got to see some of the formal shows hosted by aquarium employees. It was fun to learn more about the exhibits we had previously just observed. It was fun to watch the animals receive training with the caretakers. Here are the boys at the sea otter exhibit:
Another new experience was the lorikeet exhibit. I don't think we ever noticed it before, but the boys loved these friendly birds. They each got a turn to feed them some nectar. First William:

But sometimes it's the little things that get the most mileage, like this simple statue of a turtle that the boys refused to leave for at least 20 minutes:
Overall, we had a great time, and Mommy got to hear all about it when we got home.
