While William's cousins were in town this weekend they all decided it would be fun to see the movie "Planes". It was William's first movie since we weren't quite sure that he would be ready for all of the noise and thematic elements that go along with movies in the theater. Afterall, he still gets a little frightened by Curious George, and was almost in tears with a couple of movies they saw at school, but we didn't want him to miss out on the fun of being with cousins. So, we got him some "Planes" toys, and the book that told the story of the movie, and watched to trailers over and over, so he would get an idea of what would be going on. The morning of the movie he was so super excited!
He loved it! He spent the first half with his fingers in his ears. He said it was VERY loud, and said there were some parts that were scary, but since he had read the story he knew everything would be okay.
He loved being there with Aunt Missy,
and Daddy!
He is getting to be such a big kid!
