At our last swim meet of the summer Elliott decided to give this racing thing a try! He decided to swim the 25 yard freestyle by himself. He has gotten so much better this summer, we just thought he might make it.
What a cool kid. No nerves right before his race.
Of he goes.
He really gave it his best, and did amazingly well.
Kyle was there to encourage him, and to maybe make sure he didn't drown.
After the big race he got lots of high-fives from his family and Kyle. We were so proud of him!
Up next was William. He stretched himself this race by competing in two events. The 25 yard freestyle, and the 25 yard backstroke.
He improved his freestyle time,
and did great!
He was pretty nervous about his backstroke,
he had a couple of run ins with the lane line and the wall, but otherwise he did great. We were so impressed that he pushed himself and tried something new! Good job, Buddy!
