Elliott Turns 5!

This little guy got to 5 way too quickly!  I would really like another year of 4 since he is such a joy.
Elliott had a great birthday dinner with his cousins.  He requested his own little chocolate cake for dessert, with a number 5 in it.

And he loved his new silver scooter from Ahma.
His actual birthday was a school day, so we had to start the day with some more presents from Mommy and Daddy,
and then everyone at school had made him a darling poster to help him celebrate!
We read "Giraffe's Can't Dance", made elephants with noise blowers for trumpets, and painted giraffes to use during our Jungle Dance.

We were so grateful that Mr. Ernie is such a good dancer!
Then we had some great chocolate cupcakes with chocolate Legos on top.
We ended his school day with a wonderful rendition of "Happy Birthday" in Hebrew.
For his birthday dinner he requested Ruby's, which was delicious.  Elliott only asked for 2 things for his birthday a little birthday balloon on a stick, and a singing birthday card.  Fortunately we were able to track both of them down.  Here he is opening his singing, light flashing, cute animal card.
He approved!  My favorite part was when he said "It is singing Yom Huledet" (Hebrew for "Happy Birthday").
After all that, he still felt like he wanted a little friend birthday party.  So after school one day we had some of his best friends over for a St. Patrick's Day themed party.  The kids made rainbow bubble snakes,
and green slime with gold glitter,
and of course some green cupcakes with gold sprinkles.  I think we are officially partied out!  I am so glad you are 5 Elliott, but stop growing up so fast!
