Christmas this year was very quiet, since we all came down sick.
The boys had a lovely time visiting Santa at Roger's Garden. Elliott asked for some remote control cars and Starburst candies, and William asked for some Minecraft Legos and a new bike.
We had fun with our 12 Nights of Christmas, and the fun presents too. They boys had a lot of fun with their melting snowmen,
their light-up Snap Circuts,
and Elliott really like playing with the pretend snow and all the snow animals.
He was also a great helper when it came to making and frosting the Christmas cookies. Yum!
The boys played their violins for their cousins on Christmas Eve. William played "I Saw Three Ships",
and Elliott played "Jingle Bells".
Then Nana and Papa shared some stories and scriptures for Christmas.
On Christmas morning the boys hurried down stairs to see what Santa had left them.
William read Elliott the note that Santa left thanking them for their cookies, and reminding them to keep being good.
William especially liked the Bop-It Tetris game Santa left him in his stocking,
and Elliott loved all of his Harry Potter and wizard presents.
We had a yummy turkey dinner, and snuggled under our blankets watching "The Sound of Music" during the afternoon and evening. It was a lovely way to spend Christmas in our new home.
