Decorating the Christmas tree
Celebrating our 12 nights of Christmas
Learning about the prophecies of Jesus' birth, and reenacting Samuel the Lamanite is one of their favorite nights.
And once again, we made it another year without our Samuel being hit by arrows.
These cute boys love our 12 nights!
Peter made a wonderful angel telling Mary she would have a baby named Jesus,
and Elliott and Peter were great shepherds caring for their sheep when they heard from an angel that Jesus had been born.
Ad of course, the star led the wise men to the baby Jesus.
We had fun making a gingerbread house with Ahma,
and Peter found Santa at Roger's Gardens.
Our ward Christmas breakfast was such fun with Peter and Elliott singing Christmas songs,
before a visit to Santa to tell him what Peter would like for Christmas. (A Sven reindeer)
The boys were great helpers in getting cookies ready for Santa.
Cookies, carrots and milk all ready on Christmas Eve for Santa and his reindeer.
Christmas morning. We had a late start because Peter had been up most of the night sick-not the most fun way to start a Christmas morning.
But he was happy to open his stocking and see all the fun things Santa had brought.
Elliott did pretty well too!
We had a lovely, cozy day with family (Missy, Egan and Ahma visited)! It was a wonderful, relaxing Christmas. We are so especially grateful for our family and the Savior during this sacred season.
