It was another unique Halloween this year with Halloween falling on a Sunday and with the world still battling COVID. The kids had such a great time last year we decided to continue with some of our new traditions.
Ahma brough over donuts for the kids to decorate,
and we were able to do a bit of trick-or-treating at the stake Trunk-or-Treat. Here they are at the trunk of our good friends, Erin and Casey Spilker. The cars handing out candy were supposed to set up a way so that they could deliver candy without having to touch each other. Erin and Casey set up a fun candy shoot for the kids to choose which super hero delivered the treats.
On Halloween the kids decorated their doors and trick-or-treated throughout the house.
Most of the time they got candy, but at Mommy's door they got new books-way better than candy!
We even got Nana, Papa, Ahma and Missy in on the action.
Daddy handed out Legos like last year.
Then we watched a movie (Monsters Inc.) and had some popcorn to round out the evening. It was so nice to spend it with so many of the people we love.
The boys with their awesome pumpkins!
And with Missy, who brings so much fun and joy when she visits.
