Right before the kids went on spring break we had the annual jogathon. Because of COVID there hasn't been a jogathon in close to 4 years, so this was a first for Peter.
He did great! He alternated between running and hanging out with Mommy, and in the end ran about 1.5 miles.
Next up was Elliott! He ran almost 4 miles and kept going and going. Both boys were exhausted the next day and glad they had a long spring break ahead to rest!
This year Elliott has had a lot of fun serving in ASB. He has met so many fun friends and been able to help plan and execute some great activities. One of the friends we have gotten to meet this year is Ryan. Peter LOVES Ryan. Any time we help in an activity Peter looks for him and is so excited to play with him.
This was after a color run/obstacle course that Elliott helped with, and Peter was able to join the fun. Elliott has enjoyed serving in ASB so much this year that he ran as an officer for next year and will be serving as the ASB secretary in 8th grade.
