8th Grade Graduation

After 9 years at Vista Verde it was finally time for Elliott to say goodbye and move on to high school.

Elliott also received an incredibly special award, the SHINE award, celebrating his outstanding character.

These are all the kids who started with Mrs. Larsen in kindergarten and made it through all 9 years at Vista Verde. 

Here he is with Mrs, Larsen, his kindergarten teacher, who has loved watching him grow.

And Ms. Connolly, his 4th grade teacher, who has a special place in our hearts. She also had William as a student in 4th grade.

There are so many teachers at the school who have loved getting to know, and teach, Elliott. Here he is with his middle school science teacher, and ASB advisor, Mrs. Mark.  Elliott served as secretary this year for ASB, and Mrs. Mark praised him for always helping her stay organized and sane. 

We are so proud of this kid.

And then off to his 8th grade graduation dance with his buddies, George Papagiannis and Eli Varon, who we have known since preschool, and who will be joining him at Woodbridge High School.
