Lions and Tigers and...Polar Bears?

After recovering from our several week stint of ear infections, stomach bugs, and sore throats, we decided to get out of the house for a while and head to the zoo. This was Elliott's first time at the zoo, and he seemed to enjoy looking at all the animals.
His favorite were the polar bears. He would point at them and get very excited and sign "more". Then he would say "Ba! Ba!". Which in Elliott means "I am interested in that". As opposed to his other word of choice "Ma. Ma.", which means "Pick me up!", or "I am unhappy!".

William, like Daddy, loved the gorillas the best. He was especially excited that there was a baby gorilla that was snuggling with its mommy. "Mommy, I am that baby gorilla, OKAY!?".
The kids were remarkably good during the whole day. Elliott ended the day right before the gorillas, by falling asleep in the stroller,
and William headed to the gift shop to choose his one special thing. He ended up deciding that the thing he wanted most was a smooshed coin of a mommy and baby gorilla for 51 cents. Good choice, William.
