On Saturday, after a long day at the zoo, we headed back for some late night trunk-or-treating. The kids loved it, and it was a good practice run for Elliott.
William was a dinosaur/dragon (they are cousins after all), and Elliott was a puppy.
Now for the real thing! We started out Halloween evening with our jack-o-lantern turkey burgers.
Then rushed out the door to meet cousins for more fun!

The boys had a lot of fun knocking on doors and saying trick-or-treat. Well, Elliott mostly said "dank-ee", and "Bye", but it charmed everyone just the same.
We made it up and down two streets before the kids called it quits. William got a blister, and had to be carried the last half.
The kids got the perfect amount of candy for 2 little boys, and we still made it home in time to watch a little "The Great Pumpkin". All-in-all a wonderful evening! Thank you Princess Ella, and Fireman Steven, and even little Ladybug Mary, for joining us!
