4th of July

Our 4th of July started off with some swim lessons, followed by a lovely afternoon playing at home, and a fun BBQ with Nana, Papa and Ahma.  Then we all headed over to the field across from church to watch the neighborhood fireworks show.  The kids were so excited about the fireworks because they remembered hearing them every night on our trip to Mexico.
Here the kids are patiently waiting for the show to begin.
We were glad to have such great company with us this year.

We had a great view of the show, and it wasn't nearly as loud as when we had lived on the street that they set the fireworks off from.  The kids loved it, and were not scared at all.  They can't wait for next years fireworks!
