Yesterday William finished up his last day of second grade. The kids had Field Day, and played games outside all day, and had the Habit truck come to serve burgers for lunch.
Then they ended the day signing yearbooks, and William and I handed out sponge ball kits we made for each of the kids. It was so nice being Room Mom for this cute class this year, and getting to know these kids so much better.
William with his teacher Mrs. Barnes.
Today this handsome little fella graduated from preschool. It is hard to believe we are leaving University Synagogue. It has been like a second home to us, and we have so much love for the people there. We will miss them dearly. I can still remember his first day of preschool so clearly, so it is hard to believe that he is done now!
They performed a sweet song "You've got a friend in me".
Then he received his medal and diploma.
We will miss Mr. Ernie and Ms. Keren so much! They were such amazing teachers, and so perfect for Elliott this year.
At the end of the day we had a bubble and popsicle party.
Ernie was on big bubble duty, and made some amazing bubbles, when the kids didn't pop them first.
William even lent a helping hand with his bubble making skills. I had such a fun year being Room Mom in this class, too. The kids were so sweet and kind, and I loved all the chances to come in for parties and reading time. What a special place to be!
Now on to summer!
