This handsome boy just turned 6! He spent the morning at school where his class sung to him and presented him with a birthday card and sticker. Mommy got to come in and read a story, and he handed out stamp pens to his classmates to help celebrate!
After school Elliott went to his first art class. He was so excited, and had a great time learning how to draw faces, and make a fish out of clay. He can't wait to go back next week.
Then it was time to head home for his special birthday dinner. He chose Swedish meatballs with rice, Caesar salad, and strawberries for dinner, and asked for fudge with M&M's on top for dessert instead of cake.
He got just what he wanted, and we had Nana and Papa and Ahma join us for his birthday feast.
After dinner it was present opening time! Elliott was most excited about his Harry Potter cape, Prefect badge, personalized letter to Hogwarts, and his tool box filled with tools. At the end of the night he said he thought it was one of his best days ever!
On Saturday, we had our Mortensen cousins and Nana and Papa over for one final celebration. This time he chose chocolate cake, and got to have his very own mini cake to himself (which he amazingly at all of). He loved his party with his cousins and had fun playing games with them.
We had a blast celebrating our not-so-little guy, and can't wait to see what this new year brings for him.
