Sea World

On our last day in San Diego we decided to take a trip down to Sea World.  It has been years since we went last, and I am pretty sure Elliott was just a baby.
The boys loved the rides, perhaps the most, and we loved that there were no lines because we went during the week.

They liked the rocking eel,
but their favorite was probably the spinning cups.  The first time they decided they wanted to race Daddy, but after seeing how fast Daddy could go, they decided for the next ride he should be in their car.

There were of course the animals.  We saw walruses,
Beluga whales,

and fed the sea lions-which was a nerve-racking process for the boys as they tried to keep the birds from getting their fish.

William and Elliott liked seeing the sharks, since we had just seen so many in La Jolla,

and the sea turtles were fun because William had just done a project on them last year.
Elliott wanted to try to pet the Manta Rays, but they never got quite close enough for him to reach.  After our long day we were already to get back home!  After a long vacation, nothing is quite like sleeping in your own bed again.
