Elliott at 8 1/2

Elliott is a very sweet, good kid.  He tries hard to do what is right, but sometimes gets frustrated easily by his brothers.  He favorite colors are silver, gold, neon orange, and turquoise.  He enjoys playing soccer and being goalie especially at recess with his friends.  His perfect day would be reading books (Percy Jackson series is a favorite right now), watching movies (like Wild Kratts or Star Wars), and making something (like an animal drawn and carved out of wood).  His favorite subject in school is science because he likes learning about nature and find how things work interesting. He loves Swedish meatballs, Mommy's chocolate chip oreo cookies, rootbeer floats, and popcorn.  He is sad that he can't eat popcorn right now with his expanders in the top and bottom of his mouth.  He still loves being out in nature, especially visiting the Environmental Nature Center.  He is such a blessing to have in our family and we are grateful for his good example.

William at almost 12

Like playing soccer in the backyard in his free time.  He likes being goalie even though he says he doesn't think he is really good at it, and just spent his money on an expensive pair of goalie gloves.

He also loves playing on his iPad (he especially likes his sailing app), or coding on the computer.  He could also be found playing Frisbee, or reading (his favorite series right now is Artemis Fowl).  Perhaps his most favorite pastime is sleeping.  He LOVES to sleep.  

His favorite colors are blue, green and black, his favorite food is pizza or Swedish meatballs and he loves Mommy's chocolate chip cookies.  His favorite subject in school is math and he did very well in school his last trimester getting straight A's. 

We can see glimpses of him trying harder to be kind or obedient which is so nice to see.  We are excited to see what this next year brings for him and all that comes with being 12.

Peter at 2 1/2

Peter is quite a lot of person stuffed in a little body.  He is loud and bossy and very opinionated.  Pretty much what you would expect of a 2 1/2 year old.  He likes the color green, having books read to him, loves animals and playing with his little toy animals, is great at puzzles and really likes apple sauce and pears.  His favorite treat is "green ice cream" (mint and chip) with m&m's on top.  He was recently potty trained and especially like his Darth Vader underwear.  He loves all things Santa and reindeer and loves to sing- often a rendition of "Jingle Bells".  He is still an AWFUL sleeper and gets in time outs mostly for hitting his brothers.  He likes going on trips to the park with Daddy or walks around the lake to see the ducks with Mommy.  We love him to pieces.
