William Turns 12

William is 12! 

Blowing out his 12 candles on his requested Costco white birthday cake with white frosting and balloons on it.  Peter helped a little with the blowing out.

Opening presents and playing with balloons with family and cousins.  The biggest hit this year was a robot from Uncle Egan.

All the kids had a blast making it dance and taking turns trying to get it to go and stop just using their hand movements.

More cake on William's actual birthday.  All the boys decided they wanted candles on their cake and blew them out at the same time.

Now that William is 12 he was ordained to the priesthood, was able to pass the Sacrament for the first time, and was able to go to the temple to perform baptisms for his ancestors.  It is a big year for him!  On December 29th (his cousin Ella's birthday), Ella, William, Nana and Papa, Mommy and Daddy, Aunt Missy and the Mortensens all went to the temple together.  It was a really lovely, special experience for William and one that we hope he remembers.

We hope this is a great year for William full of growth!  We love you William.
