On a day off of school we took a trip to Little Corona for a little sea glass hunting, wave jumping, and good old being outside time.
There was some wave jumping,
and hole digging.
As we were heading out we noticed that the tide had risen much higher than we had expected. The water was clear up to the cliffs and it was quite an adventure getting back. We lost a shoe, and some buckets and shovels in the process, but eventually got them back and everyone to the other end in relatively one piece.
The beach is such a wonderful, peaceful, healing place. And we always leave feeling better than when we came.
