This summer Peter was able to spend two week of his summer break at the Environmental Nature Center summer camp.
He was a little nervous for his first day of camp,
but by the time I picked him up he was ready to tell me all about the animals he saw and the fun things he did. They even tasted some berries from a tree that they called lemonade berries.
It helped that he had Elliott at camp with him the first week to wave to him as they crossed paths.
Elliott loved learning more about plants and trees, and doing some fun experiments.
Peter had a great time making a nature journal and drawing all his favorite animal friends from camp, especially Fireball the bearded dragon, and Waffles the tortoise. He even touched a tarantula! We love nature camp!
