Elliott's birthday fell on a school day this year, which was not the most exciting way to spend a birthday, but as soon as he got home we tried to make the most of it.
He chose CPK for his dinner, and then we headed home for some chocolate fondue. He requested chocolate cake, strawberries, brown butter rice crispy treats and homemade marshmallows for dipping, and it was DELICIOUS!
A marshmallow held his birthday candle on his unorthodox birthday cake.
The presents Elliott really wanted were books, books and more books. He also asked for a new cozy jacket, a learn to knit kit-after watching Mommy knit, and fabric to sew himself a new shirt.
We rounded off the evening with a special birthday sparkler! We have loved watching Elliott grow these past 10 years and know there are good things to come in the next 10 for this sweet, kind-hearted boy.
