The one thing Elliott really wanted for his birthday was a trip to the snow to go sledding. We had been very sick at the beginning of the year, and Peter was still struggling to recover from a couple of bad bugs, so we knew we couldn't go to far. So we decided to head to Wrightwood and look for some snowy hills to slide down.
After driving around for a bit we found a wonderful snowy spot, with a great incline for sledding.
It was a little tricky getting to the top, with a lot of slipping and sliding, but once we got there it was a fun ride down.
Peter tried once to go down the hill with Daddy but then decided that sledding was not really his thing. "It is too slippy and wet on my bummy" he said.
Elliott had a great time!
And Peter managed to find other ways to stay occupied.
Even William cracked a smile!
It was just the perfect sized snow trip for us this year!
