Our William at 7 1/2 loves the color green, is obsessed with basketball and Chima legos, and would spend hours playing Chima online if we would let him.
William enjoys playing outside, and mostly shoots hoops with his new basketball net. He really likes the concept of team sports, and loves his trophies. He says he wants a basketball and football trophy.
William talks all the time. He often needs to be reminded to let other people have a turn, and won't give in easily. He mostly wants to talk about Chima.
Swim lessons have just started, and William still does not like them. He hasn't cried yet, but he does get sad when he finds out it is a swim lesson day.
Often William will get very
bothered by things Elliott does. William will decide that Elliott is talking too loud or too much all of a sudden, or doesn't like the way Elliott looks at him. He does however likes bossing Elliott around. He is often telling Elliott what to say, or how to play a game he has imagined.
At school William is struggling a bit with being as tattletale. We have had to talk a bit more about when it is appropriate to bring a teacher in to a situation. He is a bit wild and crazy with his friends at school, but some of them are that way too. He spends most of recess playing basketball. Academically he is doing great, there is no one subject that he seems to prefer. We will probably spend some of his summer working on a little bit of math-starting on multiplication, and read some good new books.
We love you William, and are excited to watch you grow!
