William recently received an award from his school for STAR behavior. STAR stands for "S" safety first, "T" there and ready, "A" act responsibly, and "R" respect self and others. It is an acronym that is frequently used at William's school to teach the children appropriate behavior and citizenship.
William was honored in front of the school by the vice principal for his example of respect.
